- De Heilig Kruiskerk werd in 1964 gewijd. De firma Vermeulen uit Alkmaar plaatste een orgel in de kerk. Als parochiekerk sloot het gebouw in 2003 de deuren. Op zondag 9 maart 2003 is het gebouw in gebruik genomen door de Protestantse Samen-op-Weggemeente van Roosendaal. Het orgel is later verplaatst naar de Paterskerk, waar het als koororgel een plaats kreeg. Eind 2015 is een revisie uitgevoerd door Nijsse.
- Er is in 2018 gemeld dat de Paterskerk waarschijnlijk zal worden gesloten in verband met financiële situatie van de parochie.
