Het orgel van de RK Bonifaciuskerk in De Rijp is gebouwd in 1866 met een schijnrugwerk. Hoewel de firma Ypma wordt genoemd als bouwer, meldt het parochie-archief een firma Smits uit Amsterdam. Bernard Pels bouwde het instrument in 1910 om en maakte pneumatische kegelladen. In 1979 is het door Vermeulen uit Alkmaar gerestaureerd.
