  • In the Church of Saint Georgius in Spierdijk there is a pipe organ from 1875, built by the Ypma company. The organ was placed in a beautiful organ case. The positive organ in the balcony is not in use. Bernard Pels worked on the organ in 1938. He replaced the Flute Travers 4' with an Aeoline 8' and moved the Salicionaal 4' to a Voix Céleste. Strangely enough, the Bassoon 16' disappeared from the Hoofdwerk, possibly also in 1938, and the Trumpet was placed on the location of the Bassoon. Parts of the Trumpet were also renewed in zinc.
  • Flentrop overhauled the organ in 1982. The organ was restored by Reil in 2009-2010, reconstructing it to its original state. The missing pipework was reconstructed by examining Ypma material from other organs. The organ was put into use again on September 26, 2010, with a recital by Marcel Hoebe ,.
  • In 2017, the nave of the church was withdrawn from the church room. The choir and both trancept arms continue to serve as a church. A wall now separates the church space from the original nave. The current entrance to the church is located at the rear in the northern trancept of the building. The organ has been moved towards the choir during this work. The nave is divided into business units. The units were commissioned in 2018. The redesign of the church section has been completed in 2020 with the laying of floor coverings.
