- Ehrenfried Leichel built an organ in 1879 for the Reformed Church (Waddenkerk) in De Cocksdorp in an existing old case dating from 1736. The maker and the original location of this organ case are unknown. The case was placed in De Cocksdorp in 1879. The organ was put into use on Sunday, September 14, 1879.
- In 1945 the instrument was badly damaged, after which it was restored in 1950 by Spanjaard. Since then, two stopss were missing on the chest. Spanjaard placed a Gemshoorn 2' in place of the Flöte 4', but the old name was still on the stop.
- In 2004 the organ was restored by Mense Ruiter. The wind supply was renewed, a separate mechanical chest has been made for the tones C-g° of the Bordun 16', and the original stop list has been reconstructed. Leichel pipe work was used for this, originating from the organ of the Oude Kerk in Velp (Gelderland). The organ was put into use again on January 16, 2005. Jan Jongepier was the consultant for the work.
