  • The Smits organ from the Sint Petruskerk in Heesch remained virtually intact until a fire completely destroyed the church on 30 June 1961. It was built in 1866 and was placed in a niche in the tower, at the back of the choir loft. The Cornet III on the Hoofdwerk was in fact a Mixture, that did not repeat in the descant. The church building was consecrated in 1868, the organ was probably also completed in that year. Around 1930, the company Valckx & Van Kouteren carried out a revision. A Voix Celeste was placed on the Positive.
  • In 1937 the same company proposed to convert the organ to an electro-pneumatic action and to expand it with an independent pedal. This plan has not been carried out. Verschueren also made a proposal in the same year, which was not used either.
  • It is not clear whether a renovation took place in 1955. Valckx & Van Kouteren made up a plan on March 22, 1955, which was submitted three days later by Dr. P.J. de Bruyn, and has been approved on behalf of the KKOR. In this renovation, the organ would be placed more forward, and would be expanded with an independent pedal with five stops, derived from two ranks. On the Positive, the Fugara 16' (descant) would be replaced by a Sesquialter (descant) and the non-original Voix Céleste by a Dulciana 8'.
  • The church was hit by a large fire in the attics on June 30, 1961, which caused a lot of damage. The organ has been lost. The remains of the church were demolished in 1962.
