Hendriksen & Reitsma built a new organ for the church 'De Schuilplaats' ('the Hiding Place') in Urk. The organ is built behind an old facade of P.C. Bik from 1898. The original prospect pipes are still in use. The Bik organ was originally built for the Freemasons Lodge in The Hague, which was rented by the Nederlandse Protestanten Bond NPB. The NPB had its own organ installed in the church hall. Bik's instrument was renewed in 1928 by Gerrit van Leeuwen. Hendriksen & Reitsma bought this organ, but completely replaced the interior. It was then used for the construction of the new organ on Urk. Construction consultant was Harry Hamer. The instrument was inaugurated on May 21, 1988.
