- The Protestant Church of Veere uses the former choir of the Grote or Onze Lieve Vrouwkerk. The main part of this building is not used for church services. The building is called the Kleine Kerk. The Grote Kerk is used as an exhibition location. There is no musical instrument in this part of the church.
- The organ in Veere organ was originally built in 1855 for the parish church of Sassenheim, using material from the previous organ. The maker is Hendricus Dominicus Lindsen. In 1870 it was transferred to a new church building. Vollebregt built a new organ for this church in 1873. The Lindsen organ was transferred by Adema to the Noorderkerk in Middelburg in 1890-1891. They replaced the Fluit Travers 8' with a Bourdon 16' from c°.
- The organ was installed in Veere in 1928 by the company Dekker from Goes. An independent pedal on a pneumatic cone chest was added with a Subbass. On the second manual, Dekker placed a Voix Céleste in an empty place.
- In 1976 and 1977 the Slooff company carried out a restoration, under the advice of Klaas Bolt. The wind chest fro 1928 with the Subbass 16' was removed from the pedal. With some festivities, the organ was put back into use on 6, 7 and 8 May 1977. There were two open places on the windchest of the Bovenwerk.
- In 1998 the instrument was completely restored by the company Reil. It was put back into service on December 19, 1998. During the restoration, a Vox Humana 8' was placed on an empty slide of the Bovenwerk. This rank is of Flemish origin and dates from the nineteenth century. A new independent pedal was also placed behind the organ against the wall, with a pedal coupler to the manual. The pipework of the Subbas is partly old.

Sassenheim: Het orgel in de R Cath Gemeente aldaar. Is de maker en datum der stichting onbekend. Heeft 8 stemmen, een handclavier en drie blaasbalgen. Prestant 4', Holpijp 8', Viol di Gamba D 8', Fluit 4', Quint 3', Octaaf 2', Gemshoorn 2' en Mixtuur. Dit orgel is in 1854 herbouwd en vergroot door H.D. Lindsen, orgelmaker te Utrecht. Heeft 14 stemmen, twee handclavieren, aangehangen pedaal en drie blaasbalgen. |
