- Lodewijk Ypma built a new organ for the Sint Martinuskerk in Westwoud in 1863. The instrument has an organ case after a design by Louis Veneman from 's-Hertogenbosch. The organ is the largest work of the company Ypma & Co. It was dedicated on April 7, 1864. The organ case has a small positive in the gallery, but this is only for decoration.
- The original design has been preserved without large modifications. But in 1911 three stops of the Bovenwerk were replaced by Bernard Pels: the Schalmey 8', Salicionaal 4' and Speelfluit 2' by Vox Celeste 8', Aeoline 8' and Flûte d'Amour 4'.
- In March 2002, the company Elbertse started a restoration, whereby the original specifaction of 1864 has been reconstructed. Consultants for the restoration were Ton van Eck and Rudi van Straten. On June 13, 2003 the organ was re-dedicated.
