1903 Alfred Kirkland  orgue neuf
1931 Builder unknown  transfer
1958 firma Henry Willis & Sons  conversion

  • In 1902-1903 Alfred Kirkland built a four-manual organ for the chapel of Christ's Hospital School in Horsham. This school had moved into new buildings from Newgate Street in London. The organ was designed by Sir Walter Parratt, organist of Saint George's Chapel in Windsor. The organ cases were designed by Aston Webb. The organ was put into use on June 7, 1903. Due to the installation in two separate cases with a console on the church floor with pneumatic transmission, the instrument showed many problems, especially slowness when playing Choir and Pedal. In 1930 it was decided to sell the organ and have a completely new organ built by Rushworth & Dreaper.
  • The organ was installed in 1931 in Ringwood Parish Church, dedicated to Peter and Paul. In 1958 it was converted into a two-manual organ by Willis & Sons.
