The chapel in the hamlet of Höhreute near Wilhelmsdorf stands in the land outside the village, which is owned by the Schwellinger family. The chapel has been owned by the municipality of Wilhelmsdorf since 1972. There was no organ in the chapel, but in 1963 Josef Schwellinger bought the old organ from the Sankt Martinskirche in Esenhausen, where a new organ was built. The instrument was built in 1841 by Samuel Friedrich Schäfer. It had ten registers. The organ was placed in the chapel by Josef Schwellinger himself, but could not be properly installed due to lack of space. It probably has never been in a playable condition on the new location.
