- Under the advice of Kåre Opdal, the company Norsk Orgel- og Harmoniumfabrikk, Snertingdal built an organ for Sandnes Kirke in 1971 with three manuals and pedal, and 28 registers. They collaborated with the Werner Bosch company from Kassel for several parts.
- Kolbein Haga, cantor organist of the church in 1982, made a plan for an overhaul in which some stops would be replaced. This work was carried out in a number of phases. In 1987 the keyboards and mechanisms were renewed by Peter Bruhn & Søn. The disposition was changed in 1990 by Ferdinand Stemmer and Sigfried Jehmlich. The Koppelfløyte 8' of the Hovudverk was replaced by a Rørfløyte 8', the Tertian of the Ryggpositiv by a new Sesquialtera, the Sesquialtera of the Oververk by a Cornet and the Schalmey 4' of the Pedal by a Trumpet. The mixture of the Hovudverk was renewed by Jehmlich in 2001.
