In 1912, the Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church was dedicated in Dresden in the Südvorstadt district. This church was equipped with a large organ by Jehmlich. On February 13, 1945, the building burned down completely during the bombing of the city. The ruin remained standing, was closed with a new roof and used as a lapidarium. In 1981-1982 a new Zionskirche was built on Bayreuther Straße. The church was dedicated on October 31, 1982. A small organ from the Sauer company was installed.
