Johann Pirchner built a new three-manual organ for the Stadtpfarrkirche in Schärding in 1973. It replaced an organ from 1923 by Josef Mayr. This organ had 24 registers. The new organ has 31 registers. Hans Haselböck was the advisor during the construction. The carving was made by Adalbert Kutter from Innsbruck.
