Saint Mary's Church, Episcopal in Reading was built in 1798. A tower was added in 1840. An organ was built by Alfred Monk in 1865. It has been modified and expanded over time. The organ was demolished in December 1984, after which another organ was installed, from Bristol. The organ had been out of use since 1973 due to its poor condition, and an electronic Allen organ was used during this period.
