  • Anders Thulé built an organ for Korpo Kyrka, officially S:t Mikaelskyrkan, in 1869-1870 on the island of Kyrklandet off the west coast of Finland. The facade was designed by Carl Johan von Heideken. The instrument was inspected on November 3, 1870 by Carl Th. Möller and C.J. Gröndahl, cantor-organist of the Cathedral Church in Turku (Åbo). The organ was dedicated during a service on November 13, 1870.
  • The organ originally stood on the gallery. During a restoration of the church in 1952, it was moved to the church floor. In 1970-1972 a plan was developed for a conversion and expansion of the instrument. This work was carried out in 1974-1975 by the Kangasala company. Thulé's original work was largely retained by Kangasala. The Borduna 16' was placed on the pedal as Subbas, and part of the pipework was used on the new swell as Gedakt. A Flöjt Amabile was installed in stead of the Borduna, which came from the organ in Munsala Kyrka, built in 1877 by Petter Lybeck. But it is possibly an even older register, which was made around 1830 by Johan Råman. Furthermore, four new registers were made, as well as a tremulant. After the final inspection by Asko Rautioaho, the organ was put back into use on February 12, 1975. The official inauguration concert was on April 20, 1975.
  • In 2014, a restoration plan was drawn up under the supervision of Sixten Enlund, with the church's cantor-organist, Mikael Granlund, participating as an advisor. The work was carried out by Veikko Virtanen. The organ has been preserved in its 1975 construction, but the console has been renewed and designed more in the original style, a new organ bench has been installed and the octave coupler on manual I has been rebuilt. The Borduna 16' on the first manual was restored with existing pipes, and the added Flöjt Amabile moved to the second manual. The Scharf was removed. The midfield of the front, which had already been adjusted in 1952, was returned to its original state.
