- A boarding house was built in Grand-Halleux in the years 1896-1898, named Saint Jean-Baptiste de la Salle. The building was also known as Johanninum. The company Walcker & Cie. built an organ for the banquet hall. It was inaugurated on October 16, 1908. It had thirteen registers and was opus 1449 by Walcker. The organ stood in its entirety in a swell box, except for the Montre and the Prestant.
- The school was damaged by a bombing raid in January 1945. In 1966 the complex was converted into apartments. It is not known when the organ was removed, but it no longer exists.
