The Degens & Ripping firm built a new organ for Hurstpierpoint College Chapel in 1961. A lot of material was used in the construction from the previous organ, which was built in 1926 by Hele & Co. However, this also contained older material from the previous instrument. The organ case of the new organ features carvings by Mr Constable of Caversham.
