Kendrick School in Reading was founded in 1877. In 1935 Hill, Norman & Beard built a new organ for the main hall of the school. It was built in memory of Gertrude Caroline Rundell. On February 3, 1936, the instrument was inaugurated with a concert by Mr. P. Scrivener.
