  • The organ of Trinity United Methodist Church in McLean was built in 1850 by Henry Erben and expanded in 1897 by Adam Stein. The organ has three manuals and pedal. The wind chest of Swell starts at c°, and the lowest octave (C-B) of Swell is permanently linked to Choir. Over time, the compass of the pedalboard has been increased from 25 keys (C-c') to 32 keys (C-g'). It is striking that both pedal couplers have a compass of 27 tones (C-d').
  • Restorations and revisions have been made by James Baird (1975 and 1997) and Richard C. Hamar (1977).
