Sankt Ansgars Kyrkan in Uppsala was dedicated in 1961. In 1965 an organ was installed, built by Starup & Søn. It was a positive with four stops, without a pedal board. In 1993 it was replaced by an organ from 1961, also by Starup, with attached pedal, which was transferred from Sankt Olofs Kapell in Rickomberga. This organ was replaced in 2002 by a new two-manual organ with eleven registers, built by Jānis Kalniņš from Latvia. Consultants were Göran Grahn and Mats Åberg. On November 17, 2002, the organ has been dedicated. During the church service, the organ was played by Mats Åberg, and in the afternoon Jarri Ederth gave the inauguration concert.
