- Ferdinand Stieffell built an organ for a church in Bietigheim in 1773-1774. This church is the old parish church of the village, dating from the twelfth century. The interior was redecorated in the Baroque style in the years 1748-1750. A new church was built in the village in 1861-1863. The old church has remained standing, but has been decommissioned. The organ was sold in 1864 and transferred by Hübner from Bruchsal to Zusenhausen. The old church of Bietigheim is nowadays in use as Friedhofskirche.
- In 1917 the front pipes were removed. These were replaced in 1921 by Heinrich Voit & Söhne. The organ was then damaged during a bombing raid in December 1944. August Stöber repaired the instrument after the war. The organ was rededicated on November 14, 1954. Part of the pipe work is still original, but a large part was replaced in later years. The Gamba was replaced after 1864 by a Trompete 8'. The compass of the pedal keyboard has been increased by one octave.
- In 2007, Richard Rensch carried out a restoration.
