- Gerhard Kuhn built his first organ as opus 1 for the Maria Magdalenakirche in Bobenheim-Roxheim. Consultant was Leo Krämer. From the previous organ of the church, built by Walcker in 1872 and converted in 1925 and 1954, some wooden stops have been taken over. The console of the previous organ was renewed in 1954 during a conversion by Wolfgang Scherpf. This console has also been reused. The organ was dedicated on March 4, 1979.
- In 2011 the organ was expanded with a Glockenspiel on the Schwellwerk, and on the pedal a Violonbass 16' and a Trompete 8', on request of Markus Stephan, organist of the church. A setzer installation was also installed, supplied by Laukhuff.
