Sallan Kirkko was built in 1949-1950. The building was designed by Eero Eerikäinen and Osmo Sipari. Advisor during the construction of the organ was Juhani Pohjanmies, who also designed the facade. On December 16, 1949, the organ was inspected by Eino Jussila.
