- Joensuun Kirkko was dedicated in 1903. The church has been designed by Josef Stenbäck. In 1904 Andres Thulé built an organ for the church, which was placed on a gallery on the north side of the altar. Oskar Merikanto played the inaugural concert on August 11, 1904. The instrument was rebuilt by Kangasala in the years 1954-1956. The disposition has been radically changed during these works.
- In 1969 Kangasala built a new organ for the church, which is placed on the west side gallery. Thulé's organ remained in the church, but the console has been disconnected and the organ is since unplayable.
