Kaivokselan Kirkko was ordained on December 14, 1969. The church was designed by Aarne Ehojoen. Initially, a small positive of Kangasala was placed. This was replaced in 1971-1972 by a new organ, built by the Tuomi company. It is a two-manual organ with twenty stops.
