- In 1871 Chalres Nicholson built a two manual organ for a Wesleyan Church in Glasgow. The instrument was transferred in 1893 by Robert Mirrlees to a church in Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae. This church was closed in 2016. After a restoration by Fokke Feenstra, it was installed in Holmestrand Kirke in 2021. It is placed here behind an existing front. The organ has two cases, but the right case is no longer in use.
- Holmestrand Kirke's organ history began with a small organ from 1770, built by Halvor Nielsen Reisstad. This was replaced in 1857 by a new and larger organ from the firm Svendsen from Oslo (then called Christiania). The company Olsen & Jørgensen built a new organ with nineteen stops in 1924. This was rebuilt by Vestfold in 1968. The organ then had 22 stops. But in 2006 the instrument was in such bad condition that a digital organ was installed. The church building has been in use since 2005 for all kinds of activities under the name Kultur-Y-kirken.
