The Aeolian Organ Company built opus 1654 in 1928 as a residence organ for a large mansion in New Rochelle, New York. The instrument had been preserved in its original condition, but was damaged due to water flooding in the basement of the house. In 2017 a restoration has been carried out by Parsons Pipe Organs. Most of the mechanical and electric parts had to be renewed. The action was modernized on this occasion.
