In 1942 Oskar Metzler built a new three-manual organ for the Liebfrauenkirche in Hinwil, Zurich. The instrument was dismantled in 1972 and replaced by a new Mathis organ. Francis Gruaz carried out an overhaul and transferred the Metzler organ to the parish church of Plaffeien. A new Setzer installation was installed in 2006.
