The first organ of Lövestads Kyrka was built in 1875 by Anders Victor Lundahl. It was a two-manual organ with eighteen stops. The church building was dedicated in 1856. Johan Fredrik Åbom designed the organ case. Nothing of this organ has survived. It was replaced in 1932 by an entirely new instrument with twenty stops, built by Mårtenssons Orgelfabrik. The pneumatic organ was demolished in 1959-1960 and replaced by a new mechanical organ, built by Wilhelm Hemmersam. The facade and parts of the pipework of the old organ were reused.
