In 1863 Svante Johansson built an organ for Yllestad's Kyrka. The instrument was modified in 1953 by his grandson, Nils Johansson. On the advice of Jan Håkan Åberg, he replaced the Trumpet with a Rörflöjt 8' and expanded the organ with a Mixtur 3 chor. A restoration was carried out in 1969 by Nils-Olof Berg and Mads Kjersgaard. They replaced both stops from 1953 with a Gedackt 8' and a Scharf 3 chor, which were made after examples from the Nordström organ in Edshult's Kyrka.
