- Around 1856 Martin Braun built a new organ with sixteen stops for the church of Kirchberg in St. Gallen. The instrument was expanded in 1880-1881 by the Goll firm to twenty registers. The reeds were probably placed at that time.
- In 1920 it was decided to replace the organ. It had to be dismantled in order to restore the west facade of the church. It was decided to have a more contemporary organ built, which was completed in 1924. The old instrument was demolished on May 12, 1924.
