- The organ in the church of Merxheim was built in 1775 by Jean-Pierre Toussaint. The church building itself was dedicated in 1772. In 1835 Joseph Callinet rebuilt the organ, reusing much of Toussaint's material. Callinet expanded the organ case with a positive in the gallery (Positif de Dos). In 1892 the organ was renovated by Joseph-Antoine Berger. He moved the positive to the backside of the organ in a swell box. The front pipes were removed in 1917. These were refitted in zinc in 1932 by Alfred Berger.
- In the years 2014-2016 the organ was restored by Nicolas Martel. Consultant was Christian Lutz. The organ was inaugurated on October 16, 2016 with a concert by Eric Lebrun and Marie-Ange Leurent.
