The parish church Sankt Johann in Dillingen/Saar was constructed in 1844-1845. It is the original parish church of the city, that was replaced by the large church of the Heilig Sakrament in 1913. The church remained in use as the second church of the parish. It was largely destroyed during the Second World War. The building has been rebuilt in 1946. There is a pipe organ in the church, located on the gallery above the tower entrance.
