In 2014 the organ of the Sankt Albertkirche in Augsburg (Sandtner 1962/Offner 1976) was in a bad condition. It was decided that a new organ would be constructed by Andreas Offner, using partially the pipes of the existing instrument. The organ was dismantled in 2018. The new organ will be expected to be dedicated in 2021. The new organ will have 39 stops on three manuals and pedal. The so called 'Albertus-Werk' is a floating division with a combined Trumpet-rank.
