- In 1966-1967, the organ of Steinmeyer in the Stephani-Kirche in Bamberg was replaced with a new instrument by Paul Ott. The organ case from 1710 had been reused. Consultant was Günter Schubert. Ott constructed a three-manual organ with 42 stops. The prospect pipes of the organ were also renewed. On February 12, 1967, the instrument was inaugurated with a concert by the consultant. A renovation of the instrument was carried out in 1977 by Wolfang Hey. In 1997-1998, the same company carried out a partial revoicing of the organ. But after almost 40 years of service, the decision was made to replace the Ott organ by a new instrument.
- Because the historic organ case had to be preserved, only the instrument itself was sold, and installed in 2007-2008 in the Kościół św. Jana Chrzciciela in Kraków, where it was dedicated on April 16, 2008. The instrument was modified: the original Oberwerk was sold and used for the reconstruction of the organ in the cathedral of Santandér in Spain. A new Schwellwerk, in style of a french Récit Expressif, was constructed on an old windchest of Walcker (from Hamburg), with partial new and partial used pipework. New prospect pipes were installed in a new organ prospect. The Sesquialera from the original Oberwerk was installed on the Brustwerk on the location of the Zimbel.
