The first building of the Uniting Church in Norwood was located in Wakefield Street. J.E. Dodd built an organ for this church in 1900-1901, that was inaugurated on June 7, 1901. It replaced an instrument by J.W. Wolff from 1877. The Dodd organ has been preserved in a good condition. It was transferred to the current church, that was constructed in 1970-1971 after a design by Eric von Schramek. The prospect of the organ was modernized to make it fit in the new modern church building.
