Ludwig Ehrlich built a small organ for the Sankt Ägidiuskirche in Unterwattenbach in 1841. In 1963, the organ was sold to a private customer, who renovated the instrument. Around 1980 the instrument was transferred to the Oberkirche of the Basilika in Niederaltaich. It has been restored to its original form.
