The organ in the Mariä Himmelfahrtkirche in Fridolfing has been built in 1893 by Franz Borgias März. It is a large two-manual organ with 25 stops. However, it was sincerely modified during time, the action was electrified and some new stops were installed. The prospect pipes were removed in 1917. In 2004-2005, the original instrument was reconstructed by Alois Linder. Under consultancy of Friedemann Winklhofer the original mechanical action was rebuilt, and lost pipes were manufactured using original März work in Bad Reichenhall in Geisenhausen. On June 12, 2005, the organ was inaugurated with a concert by Nikolaus Beer.
