- The previous organ of the Sankt Laurentiuskirche in Mackenbach was built by the company Bach & Ganser from Aachen. It must have been built after 1918. Already in 1924 there were plans to modify the instrument, for which two plans were created by Emile Kerkhoff, but those plans were not carried out because of lack of money. In 1973 the organ was renovated by Aloïs Thunus.
- In 2000-2001 a new organ was built for the church. The Bach & Ganser was dismantled.
