  • The Église de Sacré-Coeur in Roubaix was built in the nineteenth century between the Rue Parmentier and the Rue Gay-Lussac, with the entrance on Rue Lacroix. The tower with spire was constructed a couple of years later. A pipe organ was dedicated on November 23, 1887, built by the company Schyven & Cie. The inauguration concert was played by Eugène Delporte, organist of the church, together with Alphonse Seutin and mr. Meyer. In 1928 the instrument was repaired by the local company Scrépel-Pollet.
  • In june 1971 the decision was made to demolish the church building, because it was in a bad condition. The organ was also demolished. The parish moved to a smaller building on the Boulevard de Strasbourg, where the chapel of the Couvent de la Visitation could be overtaken.
