In 1826 Aloys Mooser built a new organ for the abbey church of Hauterive. The instrument was enlarged in 1829 by Johann Haller. The interior was replaced in 1931-1932 by a new organ, built by the company Kuhn. When this organ was replaced in 1953, it was transfered to the Église Saint-Michael in Fribourg, but the organ case of Mooser was demolished.
