- The company Anneessens-Tanghe built a new organ for the parish church of Gistel in 1936-1937. The instrument was dedicated on June 20, 1937, with a recital by Joseph Hanoulle and Jaak A. Cornelis.
- In 1968 the organ was dismantled. A new organ was built by the company Loncke, who did use a lot of the pipework by Anneessens.
