  • The church of Lemberge was built in the years 1874-1878. The organ from the old church was transferred to the new church. This organ was built in 1835 by Leonard Lovaert. However, the maker of the organ was unknown for many years. It was only during a restoration in 1983 that the name was found on a note pasted under the pipe grille. This note was written by Pierre-Charles Van Peteghem, who worked on the organ in 1847. In addition to some repairs, he also installed a new Nazarard.
  • In the old church the organ stood in the balustrade and the console was located at the rear. In the new church, the organ has been relocated to the organ attic, with the console at the front. The division of the Trumpet was cancelled and the Tremulant removed. A final overhaul took place in 1939. An electric wind motor was installed in the 1950s.
  • The instrument was renovated by Paul Andriessen in 1983. The Trumpet is again divided into bass and treble.
