  • In 1788 a new church was build for the Roman Catholic parish in Obersdorf-Rödgen, dedicated to Saint John Baptist. The church is built on the opposite side of the church tower of the Evangelical Church, so both churches share the tower. In 1794 an organ was built with ten stops for this church, builder unknown. It had no pedal board. In 1860 Adolf Rieschick worked on the organ. He modified the organ by replacing the Quintflöte by a Bourdon 16', modified the Mixtur and removed both Prästant 2' and Octave 1', and maybe the Trompete. It seems that he also wanted to build a pedal with Subbaß 16' and Violoncello 8' and replace the slider chest with a new cone chest.
  • The organ was replaced in 1885 by an instrument of Ernst Seifert with fourteen stops, that was demolished in 1938. After a period without a pipe organ, in 1951 a small second hand instrument was delivered by Bernhard Speith, with five stops.
