- The Erlöserkirche, Derfflingerstraße 9 in Köln-Weidenpesch was built in 1950-1951. It was an emergency church, built of stones from the ruins of the war. But the building has never been replaced by a new church. In 1954 a second-hand organ was bought from a church in Düren, which had been built by Willi Peter around 1950. In 1967 a new prospect was installed, designed by Herbert Schuffenhauer. The organ originally had electropneumatic action with Taschenladen. In 1988 the pipework was placed on new electric slider chests.
- In 2015 it was decided to close the church. The last celebration was on June 10, 2018. The congregation merged with the Philipp-Nicolai-Kirche. The church building was demolished in 2019 except for the tower. Apartments will be built, with a small church hall. The intention is that when this church hall is ready, the organ from the Philipp-Nicolai-Kirche will be transferred, after which this church will also be demolished. The organ of the church has been sold to the Maria Magdalenakirche in Berlin-Niederschönhausen. It was transferred in 2020 by the company Eberswalder Orgelbau.
