- The organ in the Mariä Heimsuchung-Kirche in Herbesthal was bought in 1940 from the Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Aachen. It was placed in this church in 1910. The organ dates from 1868 or at least around that year, and was built by Christian Wendt. The original location is not known. The company Stahlhuth built a new organ for the Herz-Jesu-Kirche in 1939. The old instrument was placed in Herbesthal by Georg Stahlhuth. It was dedicated on February 3, 1941.
- André Thomas reconstructed Wendt's instrument in 1996. Advisor Luc De Vos provided the response after the restoration on September 22, 1996.
