- The Sankt Monikakirche in Munich-Neuperlach was built as a parish church for the north-east of Neuperlach. An emergency church was built on Kurt-Eisner-Straße (called 'Behelfskirche') in 1969-1970. The current church building was dedicated on November 29, 1981, First Advent. The WRK Orgelbau company delivered a two-manual organ in 1983.
- In 2009, all parishes in Neuperlach were merged into the parish Christus Erlöser.
