- The church of Embourg was built after 1896. In that year, the old village church was destroyed by fire. The organ, built in 1838 by Dieudonné Joseph Comblain, was also destroyed. This organ had nine stops. In 1946 a second-hand organ was purchased, a former residence organ, built in 1926 by Maurice Delmotte.
- The current organ was purchased in 1989 from the Franciscans in Marche-en-Famenne. However, the history of the instrument begins in the monastery church of the Franciscans in Salzinnes. It was built here between 1853 and 1860, possibly by Arnold Clerinx. Unfortunately the name of the builder is not documented. In 1927 the organ was moved to a new monastery building in Namur. The work was carried out by Louis Lemercinièr. He converted the organ to pneumatics and expanded it with three registers.
- After the closure of the monastery in Namur in 1971, the organ was rebuilt by André Thomas in the chapel of the Franciscan monastery in Marche-en-Famenne. Using the keyboard, the case, the Grand Orgue windchest and part of the pipework, Thomas built a new organ in the historic case. The disposition is designed in a more baroque style. After the closure of the monastery in Marche, the organ was overhauled by Thomas and transferred to Embourg.
