The Vleugels company built a new main organ for the Sankt Peter und Paulkirche in Würzburg in 2017-2018. It was dedicated on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Peter Schäfer played the inauguration concert. The organ has 55 stops, but this includes many transmissions and extensions. The actual number of stops is 35. The instrument is set up in three parts with electrical action and a free-standing movable console.
