Carl Eduard Gesell built an organ for the Deutsch Evangelische Kirche in Istanbul in 1883. It was placed in the church in 1884. The Werner Bosch company carried out a renovation in 1964, whereby the stop list was modified. The firm Alexander Schuke restored the organ in 2004.
